RCF brings together key community stakeholders to address issues critical to Richmond and Contra Costa County through Collective Impact. RCF convenes critical stakeholders in order to focus time, talent and resources on a single set of goals, measured in the same way. Collective Impact work requires a backbone organization to hold the vision and lead the process; RCF currently plays this role in the following initiatives:
Community Development/Physical Environment: Creating capital investments in a neighborhood changes the physical environment from one of neglect to one of strength.
Economic Development: Increasing wealth and stimulating the local economy improves the livelihood of individuals, families, and entire communities.
Education: Access to quality education (instruction and facilities) is a defining characteristic of a sustainable community.
Health: Access to health care, nutritious foods, and healthy environments improve the lives of individuals and communities.
Public Safety: Sound design, safe walkways, and supervised playing fields are just some elements that help increase public safety and well-being.
